Connecting to Wi-Fi
In Between Dreams offers super high speed wireless internet connectivity through Spectrum Internet (up to 400mb download speeds) and a tri-band Orbi wireless router. You should get great wireless signal throughout the house. To access the Wi-Fi network simply connect to the Network InBetweenDreams. The network password can be found on the refrigerator in the kitchen (we don't share here for security reasons)

Random Stuff
Parking at the Clubhouse
One of the great amenities of the Duck Landing community is the clubhouse. Adjacent to the private beach access, the clubhouse features workout equipment, game room, indoor pool, tennis courts and a playground.
Starting in 2021, parking passes are required to park in front of the Clubhouse. The passes are only required MEMORIAL DAY-LABOR DAY and only necessary when parking in the common area lot outside of the clubhouse. Guests will each have 2 passes that are available for pick-up at the clubhouse along with a "helpful tips" rental brochure.
What are those annoying bugs?
Those are midges... and yes, they're annoying. The good news is they are generally pretty harmless and they're an important part of the NC coastal ecosystem. The bad news is that they we can see pretty big swarms at times and they really love flying in the house (attracted to light). Here are a few tips to manage them when populations are high in the area.
- Don’t turn on bright lights at dawn or dusk.
- Close the blinds or curtains when you turn the lights on in a room . The light will attract a swarm of midges.
- Plan your walks, parties, and other outdoor activities when midges are not as active. Midges are most active during the early morning and late at night.
